Sal is sired by B & L’s Rock “E” Mr. Morgan (HOF), a proven sire of champions and a prospective 3x Superior Stallion with more than 18 Hall of Fame offspring. Both of Mr. Morgan’s parents are legendary in their own right- Bar-G’s Rock “E” (HOF), a 4x Supreme Sire with 33 Hall of Fame progeny and countless National Grand Champions, and J-J’s Fancy Boots (HOF), who also earned the coveted title of Superior Dam. The Rock “E” line remains one of the most sought-after and winning bloodlines in the industry, and Sal proudly carries this heritage forward.
From the moment I first saw him as a weanling at the AMHR Nationals in 2019, I knew he was special. When breeder Mona Hodkiewicz brought him out for me, his natural presence and beauty left a lasting impression - and he was even more stunning in person. After purchasing him, I visited him in his stall, and his kind eyes and sweet nature immediately won me over. Sal continues to brighten every day with his gentle temperament, and we are thrilled to add him to our Roan Program, where he will contribute refinement, movement, and quality.
Sal is also the only full sibling to Lilac Hills Miss Shady Lady, a National & Congress Futurity Champion, Congress Champion Foal of Current Year, and National Top 5 Halter Champion. He is the maternal brother to multiple decorated winners, including Lilac Hills Kenos Myrcella (multi National & Congress Top 10 Halter Champion), Lilac Hills Kenos Khaleesi (National Champion Youth Halter Mare, Congress Futurity Champion, and multi Congress Top 10 Halter Champion), and Lilac Hills Midnight Confessions (National Top 10 Futurity Champion).
