HYDE AWAY RANCH SHEMAY
"Shemay"
VERMILYEA FARMS
APACHE BRAVE x HEERMANNS JIMMYS SHEAINT
00.00 2006 Solid Sorrel Mare
AMHA A176954 & AMHR 283147T
HYDE AWAY RANCH SHEMAY comes
from a Pedigree full of both National Champions in both Halter and Driving. Shemay's Pedigree
shows that about one third of her Pedigree is Appaloosa.
Her Sire, VERMILYEA FARMS APACHE BRAVE is a Chestnut
Appaloosa and her Dam, HEERMANNS JIMMYS SHEAINT is a
Roan Pintaloosa. Somehow Shemay turned out to
be a solid Sorrel. She does have nice
movement.
Shemay's Grand Sire, LUCKY FOUR LINKS GOLDSTRIKE has
Sired National Champion & National Reserve
Champions. Her Paternal Grand Dam is the daughter of
YELLOW DIAMOND LITTLE FEATHER (a 3 time National
Reserve Champion Halter Horse).
Her
Sire’s side goes back to SHADOW OAKS PAUL BUNYAN which has primarily
National Champion Halter Horses with some Driving Horses and she is the Grand
Daughter of HEERMANNS JIMMY JOE, a Homozygous Stallion, who is the Sire of
HEERMANNS WHISKEY LIGHT who is the AMHA Reserve National Grand Champion
Country Pleasure Driving Horse in 1998 as well as a 3 time National Champion and
2 time Reserve National Champion Horse). HEERMANNS JIMMY JOE is the Son
of DOUBLE O SEVEN MOTO who is a 2 Time National Grand Champion Producer and a
multiple National Champion Producer who was not shown. He has produced Single
Pleasure Driving Horses, such as BOONES LITTLE PRINCE (the AMHA 1985
Reserve National Champion Ladies Single Pleasure Driving and also the following
year became the 1986 National Champion Get of Sire). A few of his most well
known offspring’s are DOUBLE O SEVEN AND A HALF MOTO (who was a National
Grand Champion Stallion) and RUTH HAYNES MOTO (the first National Grand
Champion Mare). DOUBLE O SEVEN MOTO is the Great Grand Sire to LANDRYS
COWBOY DEL on both his Top and Bottom Lines. With this combination in her
Pedigree, it makes her well balanced in both Halter & Driving. It shows, as she
is a very nice looking Mare and her trot will catch your eye. Our expectations
for her to
past along her movement and looks to her foals has not been disappointing.
