MARTINS MR CHIPS LEO has been competing at local AMHR shows as late as 2005 according to the Navarre Mini Acres website. This is what is says about “Chips”. "In 2004 “Mr. Chips is our first mini. He came from Kansas and had been shown in his younger years. In July of 2004 Chip pulled his new inexperienced drivers in a parade at Dousman, Wisconsin and received a trophy for best horse drawn vehicle. We enjoyed that so much we later drove him in a parade at Ixonia, Wisconsin. In October of that year he won a first place trophy for trail in hand at the Southeast Wisconsin Miniature Equine Club (SEWMEC) "fun" show. Also in October he visited a nursing home at Waupun, Wisconsin and took many grateful seniors for cart rides.”  In 2005 “Chip entered his first sanctioned AMHR show in Wisconsin at Shawano where he placed in several classes.  He took 1st, 2nd and 3rd in trail in hand, three 2nds in pleasure driving, and three 1st in obstacle driving. Not bad for a horse that had been "retired" for several years. In June, at the Pinto World Show in Tulsa, Oklahoma, he earned a Reserve Grand Championship in obstacle driving, also placing in trail in hand. In August he took three 1st place ribbons in color at the Wisconsin Pinto Show at Jefferson. Chip turned 18 in 2006. He has been our teacher and is still willing to share his know-how and talent with all his human friends.” In 2006 “Chip continues to do well at local shows.”  “Chips” is the Paternal Brother to MARTINS TOTA LEE AWE SUM LEO (the 1994 was in the Top 5 for both Senior Halter Stallion & Single Pleasure Driving). He is the Grand Sire to ROCKING M REMINGTONS HOT STUFF who was the AMHA 2006 Best All Around Horse and the 2006 World Grand Champion Single Pleasure Driving Horse and has numerous National & Reserve National Champions and multiple Top 10 Championship Titles for both Halter, Single Pleasure, Roadster, Liberty, Hunter, and Versatility Classes. The following year ROCKING M REMINGTONS HOT STUFF’s daughter, SKY BLUE REMINGTONS RICOCHET, the following year in 2007 made AMHA History by also earning the Best All Around Horse and she was only 3 years old.  This made AMHA History as never before has an offspring earned the Best All Around Title and this was done the following year at the World Show.

Note: We would like to thank Navarre Mini Acres for their permission to use their photo's and also for sharing his local achievements.
