Pedigree’s of our Following Horses: KEWPIES SUN is the Sire of ROWDY (1973-1990) whose name is synonymous with the Miniature Horse World. He was a very leggy, refined horse. When the NFC Farm had their Disposal Sale in 1993, Rowdy had already died. Per Pat Elder’s book, OUTSTANDING MINIATURE HORSES STALLION PAST & PRESENT, she states that “the NFC “Sale of the Century” catalog had this to say about him: “Rowdy was a classic Miniature Stallion with excellent conformation similar to that of a thoroughbred. His get, without exception, are easily recognized as he passes on these outstanding qualities. The Rowdy bloodline has produced National and/or National Reserve Champions each and every year beginning in 1986.”
